According to the instruction of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with the personal representative of the OSCE chairman, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk on January 23.

The sides have discussed the latest situation on the line of confrontation of the troops and violations of the ceasefire.

Defence Minister emphasized the importance of taking concrete and more serious measures related the returning of the body of Azerbaijani soldier Gurbanov Chingiz Salman oglu, who became a shahid (martyr) during suppressing the enemy's provocations on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border on December 29 last year.

In his turn, the Ambassador A.Kasprzyk articulated that additional measures will be undertaken in this sphere and expressed confidence that the issue will be resolved in the possible shortest time.
