The Command-Staff Exercises of the Nakhchivan garrison troops started on June 7, ended.
At the next stage of the exercises, the tasks related to the activities of the troops were specified on the terrain board in the field control points, and the maneuverability of the units during the movement from one direction to another was checked according to the made decision. The deployment of troops in the assembly areas, at firing and starting positions, as well as the interoperability between combined-arms formations, were trained in practice.
The tank, motorized rifle, mechanized and rocket-artillery units have destroyed the targets of the imaginary enemy during the fulfillment of combat firing.
The reality of the decisions and reports made during the computer-assisted phase of the exercises was checked on computers at the Simulation Center of the Nakhchivan Garrison.
At the end of the exercises, the analysis of the tasks fulfillment skills of staffs and units involved in practical activities was carried out, and relevant instructions were given to the commanders of the formations in preparing for the next exercises.
