The servicemen of the Combined Arms Army, having worthily represented our country in the Winter Exercise - 2021, held in Kars, the Republic of Turkey, returned to their duty areas.
“The Distinguished Visitors Day” and the stage of combat shooting of “Winter Exercises-2021” were conducted on February 11. The paratroopers advanced to the point of enemy targets with the support of military transport and attack helicopters in the course of the stage of combat shooting. ATAK combat helicopters ensured the safety of special forces. The artillerymen destroyed assigned enemy positions with the support of the UAVs. Armored vehicle crews performed various maneuvers and firing by applying tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. Targets simulating enemy tanks were destroyed by airstrikes. Engineering units, using equipment for opening passages, ensured the untrammeled movement of troops advancing through the cleared areas. Sniper pairs destroyed targets with an accurate shot in the course of the exercises. The helicopters delivered the howitzer-guns to the training sites. The Winter Exercise ended with a parachute jump with the state flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Along with the press of both fraternal countries, foreign media also showed great interest in Winter Training-2021. The reports prepared by Turkish TV channels spoke about the professionalism of the servicemen of the Combined Arms Army and the participants of the exercise were interviewed.
Azerbaijani servicemen participating in the Winter Exercises returned to their duty areas on February 12. The personnel returning from Turkey were solemnly welcomed in the military units.
