The information about the death of serviceman of the Armed Forces, soldier Fattayev Khanali Garibali oglu as a result of enemy shots, which was spread in social networks, and some electronic information sources on January 29, does not correspond to reality.
We declare that the soldier died in a non-combat situation, as a result of a crossbow. Initial investigation revealed that suicide was not related to service duties. Military Procuracy instituted criminal proceedings in connection with the fact and an inquiry is in progress.
At the same time, we once again warn the users of social networks and electronic mass media not to spread the unspecified and non-official information about the activities of the Armed Forces, in particular the cases occurring in the frontline zone.
