On the occasion of Victory Day, a meeting was held with veterans of Special Forces and families of heroes who became Shehids (Martyrs) in the Patriotic War.
First, the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence.  Then the national anthem was performed. The ceremony participants laid flowers at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the memorial to the Special Forces erected on the territory of the military unit.
At the event, a cake made on the occasion of Victory Day was cut, and various gifts were presented to veterans and children of Shehids (Martyrs).
The children were shown modern small arms and their questions were answered.
Mugham singer Kanan Bayramov performed music praising heroism and patriotism.
At the end of the event, the guests talked with the military personnel.
