Thanks to the efforts of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the body of a soldier Gurbanov Chingiz Salman oglu who has become a shahid (martyr) during suppressing the enemy's provocation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border on 29 December 2016, was transferred to the Azerbaijani side on February 5.
The procedure for receiving of a soldier's corpse was implemented in the direction of the village Bala Jafarli of Gazakh region with the adoption of appropriate measures by the Ministry of Defence and through the mediation of the Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The body of shahid Ch.Gurbanov, after receiving it from the opposite side, was sent to Baku, accompanied by a honor guard and with military honors.
