Servicemen of the Combined Arms Army demonstrated high professionalism at the “Heydar Aliyev-2023” exercises - VIDEO

“Heydar Aliyev-2023” joint live fire tactical exercises held in the Kars city, Türkiye, ended. The servicemen of the Combined Arms Army who participated in the exercises dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye and the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, successfully fulfilled combat tasks and showed high professionalism.

The Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev visited Kars city to watch the “Heydar Aliyev-2023” joint live fire tactical exercises. During the visit, the monuments to the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in Kars city were visited.

During the “Heydar Aliyev-2023” joint live fire tactical exercises, information was provided on the deployment of troops in the area, the staged activities, and modern weapons and military equipment for military purposes. After getting acquainted with the plan, the live fire stage of the exercises began.

According to the scenario of the exercises, special forces units carried out an assault on a cave where a terrorist group of an imaginary enemy was located.

Crews of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery and anti-tank units destroyed the imaginary enemy’s positions with the support of helicopters.

Snipers involved in the exercises performed practical shooting from different distances.

The exercises ended with a parachute jump, during which portraits of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the state flags of both fraternal countries were unfurled.

The servicemen of the Combined Arms Army, who demonstrated high professionalism at the “Heydar Aliyev-2023” exercises, crossed the Umid Bridge over the Araz river and returned to their duty areas.
