With regard to the execution of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring 2023 as the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in Azerbaijan, the activities held in the Azerbaijan Army in accordance with the plan approved by the Minister of Defense are underway.
A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the National Defense University of the Ministry of Defense on the topic "The peak standing above history and time".
At the conference held with the participation of the officers, professors and teaching staff of the National Defense University, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Motherland was honored with observing a minute of silence.
The participants talked about the wise and visionary policy of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern Azerbaijan, and noted that the development of modern military science was achieved as a result of the attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev.
The conference also presented scientific reports on the life and activities of the National Leader.
