With regard to the execution of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring 2023 as the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in Azerbaijan, the events held in the Azerbaijan Army are underway.
As part of the events with the participation of military personnel of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support of the Main Department for Personnel and a group of representatives of the State Committee on Religious Associations, meetings were held with military personnel in the liberated territories in order to promote the national and moral values in the Azerbaijan Army and to instill a sense of patriotism in the military personnel.
In the meetings, it was noted that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev has always held Azerbaijani national and moral values high in the state building policy, and rendered unparalleled services in the preservation of the traditions. As a result of the successful policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor of the Great Leader's political course, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan is recognized in the world as a tolerant state committed to the values of humanism and respects Islamic, human, national and moral values.
During the meetings, extensive discussions were held with the personnel on "The place and role of military personnel in the fight against religious extremism" and other topics, as well as the education of young people in the spirit of military patriotism, the role of the national and moral values in protecting them from harmful habits, and the importance of educational measures implemented in this field.
