According to the joint plan of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Human Rights Ombudsman, representatives of the Ombudsman's Office visited military units stationed in the frontline zone.
Representatives of the Ombudsman's Office Fazail Hasanov and Vugar Heydarov got acquainted with the living conditions of the servicemen, learned about the situation regarding to the protection of human rights in military units and answered to questions the military personnel is interested in.
Having reviewed the soldiers' barracks, mess halls, medical points, amenity space and other administrative premises, the staff of the Ombudsman's Office positively evaluated the quality of food and medical services for servicemen, the conditions created for them to spend their free time, as well as the work carried out in the educational sphere and the building of a spirit of patriotism among military personnel.
