According to the joint plan of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Human Rights Ombudsman, representatives of the Ombudsman's Office has conducted monitoring on "Ombudsman Institute and its work to protect the rights of servicemen" to study the human rights situation in the Azerbaijan Higher Military School named after Heydar Aliyev and the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivansky.
During the monitoring, the staff of the ombudsman's office got acquainted with the material and technical base of the military schools, the living conditions created for the military personnel, the situation with providing the servicemen with the necessary food, medical supplies, the teaching process, and gave their positive assessment to the work done in this military educational institutions.
