The "Exchange of lecturer" activity is being held in Slovenia in accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia for 2016.
The purpose of the said activity is to publicize our country, inform wide auditorium on regional security situation and realities, as well as to strengthen friendly relations betweenthe Armed Forces of two countries.
On 3 May, the Head of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan Major General Huseyn Mahmudovhas given a lecture on «Azerbaijan's vision on Security threats and Challenges of the South Caucasus» at the Centre of Military Schools (CMS) of the Slovenian Armed Forces and presented detailed information about the Armenian-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its aftermath.
The students of Slovenian War College, lecturers from Military Scientific Centre, directing staff of other schools of CMS, as well as the members of the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence have taken part in the event.
