New draft regulations on discipline, garrison, guard services and internal service of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, prepared by a working group consisting of officials from relevant authorities of the Armed Forces, were presented on May 30. 
At the event, detailed information on the activities of the working group established by the relevant order of the Minister of Defense to update military regulations, as well as on the new draft regulations was provided.
It was noted that the successful reforms carried out in the Armed Forces under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the applied innovations, and the country’s national-spiritual values were considered within the new draft military regulations, prepared in accordance with the modern requirements.
At the event, the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov spoke about further strengthening military discipline, gave recommendations on awarding distinguished servicemen, and assigned specific tasks to the relevant officials.
