New apartments issued to servicemen - VIDEO

Consecutive activities carried out in the field of improving the social conditions of servicemen are being continued.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of a new residential complex built in the Hovsan settlement of Surakhani district.
It should be pointed that on the basis of the appeal of the commission established by the Decree of the Head of State “On measures to strengthen the social protection of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, 436 completely renovated apartments were allocated within the residential complex in order to provide military personnel with housing.
Completely renovated apartments are equipped with the necessary furniture and an individual combi heating system. The necessary infrastructure for housing has been created inside the residential complex. A school building for 1920 student places, as well as two nursery-kindergartens for 90 places each, were built and transferred for use by residents. In the courtyard of the residential complex, built on an area of 20 hectares, lighting systems were installed, a landscaping plot was laid, work to improve the territory was done, as well as a park and a mini-football playground were built for the fruitful organization of children's leisure. All this creates a favorable condition for ensuring the convenience of residents of the camp.
The servicemen and their families who received the apartments expressed their gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the First Vice-President and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for the conditions created here and the care shown.
Important projects that are being implemented to improve the social conditions of the servicemen, who covered by the constant state care, will continue to be consistent. Every serviceman, disabled war veteran, every shehid's (martyr) family can be sure that the state will always be with them and will continue to provide care at a high level.
