In the Nakhchivan garrison troops, initial officer ranks were awarded to graduates who completed the Reserve Officer Training Course involving a group of servicemen who participated in the Patriotic War. A graduation ceremony was held on the occasion of sending the graduates to their duty areas.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the blessed memory of the Shehids (Martyrs) was honored and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Speakers, congratulating the graduates, emphasized that the cadets carried out shooting from various types of small arms and large-caliber weapons, conducted training on driving and shooting using all types of armored vehicles, as well as successfully mastered the experience gained in the Patriotic War.
Lieutenant General Fazil Aghalarov, having conveyed the congratulations of the Chief of the Nakhchivan Garrison, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev, mentioned that successful use of the "Bayraktar-TB2" unmanned aerial vehicle during the last Joint Tactical-Special Exercises of the Nakhchivan garrison troops with the command and control bodies of the Turkish Armed Forces, commissioning of a new housing and service complexes for military units of the Combined Arms Army, and provision them with new service vehicles are an appropriate continuation of the work done in the sphere of army development. The training of professional military personnel is always in the spotlight in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and for this purpose, training courses on various military specialties are organized. As before, a group of graduates of the Reserve Officer Training Course will teach the subject " Pre-conscription training of youth " in secondary schools.
After the speeches, the graduates have been presented with shoulder boards, certificates, and gifts.
A graduate who completed the courses perfectly attached the emblems to the symbolic stumps. Then orders on the appointment of graduates to new positions have been read out at the ceremony and the graduates have solemnly marched in front of the podium.
