Nakhchivan Garrison Central Military Medical Commission was established - VIDEO

The successful continuation of the political course of the national leader Heydar Aliyev plays an important role in achieving success in the health care system, protecting the health of every citizen, serviceman, and their family members, along with other areas. Today, the improvement and development of the health care system in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is the basis of state policy. The establishment of a permanent Nakhchivan Military Garrison Central Military Medical Commission and a Medical Flight Commission in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is also the result of large-scale reforms. The presentation ceremony of the newly established commission held at the Nakhchivan Garrison Central Hospital was attended by the leadership of the troops and bodies, ministries and other relevant agencies in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, students of Nakhchivan State University major in military doctor. 

Speaking about the importance of the commission, the Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev, noted that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious   Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev, within the framework of his visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on May 10, opened the military aerodrome complex of the Combined Arms Army, as well as the Central Hospital of the Nakhchivan Garrison and got acquainted with the conditions created here. The new 5-storey building has all conditions, which opens up ample opportunities for the activities of the Nakhchivan Garrison Central Military Medical Commission and the Medical Flight Commission. Nakhchivan Garrison Central Military Medical Commission was entrusted to carry out medical testimony and military-doctor examination in army, unions, Army Corps, formations, and units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan deployed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, military educational institutions, law enforcement bodies during peace and war periods. 

Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev noted that the category of fitness for military service, injuries (injuries, traumas, contusions), diseases of servicemen and citizens, who voluntarily entered the military service (authorities) in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Operational determination of the causal link with military service (military conscription), as well as other issues related to military medical examination and medical certification will be considered in a centralized manner by the Nakhchivan Garrison Central Military Medical Commission and the Medical Flight Commission.

Chief of the Nakhchivan Garrison Central Military Medical Commission, medical service colonel Targulu Targuluyev gave detailed information about the commission structure and activities. The head of the commission noted that medical examination of citizens joining the military service voluntarily, citizens entering the service of authorities, military servicemen, citizens who have served and serving in government agencies , citizens entering special educational institutions training military servicemen, citizens entering the Military Lyceum named after Heydar Aliyev and studying at the lyceum, citizens enrolled in the Secondary Specialized Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, citizens participating in military sessions and who have already participated in sessions, citizens who have served in military service, former servicemen, reservists of the Azerbaijan Army and government agencies, servicemen other than conscripts persons serving in the government agencies and their family members, flight crew of troops and government agencies, reserve flight crew in accordance with the legislation will be conducted by the newly established commission.

The commission is tasked with determining the cause of injuries fatal injuries, illnesses, and terminal illnesses, the category of fitness state for military service at the time of discharge of civils (from government agencies) from military service as well as determining the suitability of servicemen and civils serving in government agencies.

At the end of the event, Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous

Republic Vasif Talibov for the care and conditions created for the troops and wished success to the newly established commission in the autonomous republic. 

After the presentation, the participants got acquainted with the conditions created at the Nakhchivan Garrison Central Hospital and the service rooms where the Nakhchivan Garrison Central Military Medical Commission and the Medical Flight Commission will operate, as well as inspected the vehicles allocated to the commission and military doctor specialty students of the Nakhchivan State University.
