The initiative of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva to plant 650 thousand trees in one day in our country on the occasion of the 650th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Imadeddin Nasimi was also joined by Army Corps, military formations, units, special military-educational institutions, departments and organizations of the Azerbaijan Army.
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense also took part in the tree-planting campaign, which is carried out with the aim of contributing to nature conservancy, ecological balance restoration, and environment protection.
During the campaign organized in the military units of the Azerbaijan Army, as a whole, up to 70 thousand different species of trees were planted.
