According to the instructions of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the Days of Open Doors were held in military units on March 20.
The Minister of Defence and the leadership of the ministry visited the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the military unit located in Puta settlement, laid flowers and honored his memory.
During the meeting with the parents and relatives of the soldiers, the minister talked about the reforms implemented in the Armed Forces according to the instruction of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the works carried out with the aim of improving the social conditions of the military personnel, as well as new military camps and other issues.
Visitors, having familiarized with the conditions created for the soldiers in military units, visited service and administrative rooms. After the festive concert, lunch was organized for them in a soldier's mess hall.
Being pleased with the event and the conditions created for the military personnel in the military unit, the parents expressed their gratitude to the head of state for the attention and care shown to the Armed Forces.
