Military oath-taking ceremonies were held in the Azerbaijan Army

Today, on August 8, military oath-taking ceremonies were held for young soldiers in the units and subunits of the Azerbaijan Army.
Taking into account the requirements of the special quarantine regime, no meetings with the relatives of the soldiers at the military oath-taking ceremonies were held to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. The military oath-taking ceremonies were covered by the media, interviews with servicemen were held, and for the first time, conditions were created for online video communication of young soldiers with their families.
The military oath-taking ceremonies were held in all military units according to the military rituals and taking into account the requirements of a special quarantine regime.
Some citizens attempted to enter the territory of the military unit and meet with the soldiers, grossly violating the requirements of the special quarantine regime, applied due to the pandemic, and entry rules to the territory of the military unit.
The command of the military units has taken relevant measures to prevent such steps. However, considering the persistent requests and long-distance journeys of some parents, the requirements of the special quarantine regime were strictly observed, and conditions were created for them to hold short-term meetings with their children.
We hereby state that in accordance with the requirements of the special quarantine regime strict restrictions on the meetings of soldiers with their parents and relatives are being applied to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.
In order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the army, we call on close family members and relatives of the servicemen to follow strictly the quarantine rules applied in countrywide and in the army.
