On July 12, the Military Medical Faculty conducted educational and methodological training sessions in connection with the results of the first period of the 2018th academic year, with the participation of the officers from the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense, the command staff of military units and institutions, as well as the chiefs of medical services of the Army Corps.
The participants paid tribute to the memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the shehids (martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan with observing a minute of silence. Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Opening the event, Major General Natig Aliyev, the chief of the Main Medical Department, noted that the tasks for the medical provision of military personnel for the winter period foreseen for the year 2018 have been fully implemented, all conditions were created for a complete patient's workup in medical military units and institutions equipped with modern medical diagnostic equipment, as well as touched upon a number of other issues.
Then, reports were heard on the state of medical and preventive work for the first period of the 2018th academic year, the work that was done in this direction and the results of the preventive measures carried out.
