An event dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the Military Medical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University was held.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, Azerbaijan Medical University, teaching staff of the faculty, cadets, as well as other visitors.
First, the memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The participants of the event were given detailed information about the history and activities of the Military Medical Faculty.
The speakers noted that the work started by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the army development field was successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev. They emphasized the successes achieved in the field of military medicine along with the other fields, as a result of the reforms carried out thanks to the attention and care of the head of state.
It was noted that the professionalism demonstrated by military medical personnel during the Patriotic War and other military operations was highly appreciated by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the leadership of the Defense Ministry.
Then music pieces and poems were performed by the cadets, national dances with the participation of the dance ensemble were greeted with applause.
In the end, a group of faculty’s employees was awarded honorary diplomas.
