Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski held its 51st graduation ceremony - VIDEO

On June 15, the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski held a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 2023 graduation of the cadets of the lyceum.
The 51st graduation ceremony of the Military Lyceum was attended by the leadership of the National Defense University, the staff and leadership of the lyceum, teachers, graduates, parents and media representatives.
First, the busts of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Jamshid Nakhchivanski in the Military Lyceum were visited.
The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence.
The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed accompanied by a Military Orchestra.
Then the Battle Flag of the lyceum was solemnly brought to the parade ground.
The rector of the National Defense University, professor, Lieutenant General Heydar Piriyev made a speech and congratulated the graduates on the occasion of the significant day on behalf of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and on his own behalf, and wished them success in their future service.
It was noted that June 15, when the graduation ceremony coincided, is also the National Salvation Day of the Azerbaijani people, the day of the deliverance of statehood and moral values. One of the important steps taken by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was the establishment of the Military Lyceum named after J. Nakhchivanski. It was emphasized that the Military Lyceum named after J. Nakhchivanski, which has a special role in the training of national officers, is surrounded by the attention and care of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the worthy successor of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Then the teacher of the military lyceum, Rana Seyidrzayeva, made a speech and wished the graduates success and to be worthy officers.
The cadet Emil Bayramli, who scored a high result (274 points) in the 11th grade graduation exam conducted by the State Examination Center, spoke on behalf of the cadets. The cadet emphasized that they will justify the trust placed in them, work more confidently during their next higher military education and become professional officers in the future, fulfill their duty to the Motherland, the state, and the people, as well as always highly appreciate the honor of the servicemen.
After the speeches, the cadets of the lyceum who distinguished themselves in education and discipline were presented with school leaving certificates and collar badges of the lyceum, a graduation emblem was attached to the symbolic stump.
Then a solemn ceremony was held to hand over and receive the Battle Flag of the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski. The Battle Flag was transferred to the cadets of the next graduation.
At the end of the event, the cadets performed the Lyceum’s march accompanied by a Military Orchestra, and solemnly marched in front of the podium.
