On June 26, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense visited the Main Clinical Hospital of the Ministry on the occasion of Armed Forces Day.
First, flowers were laid at the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the territory of the hospital. The memory of the Great Leader and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with observing a minute of silence.
The Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the military personnel undergoing treatment in the hospital and enquired about their health. The Minister wished them a speedy recovery and return to their places of service.
Conveying the congratulations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev to the servicemen and medical personnel, the Minister of Defense presented them with festive gifts.
The staff of the hospital and the treated servicemen expressed their deep gratitude to Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the leadership of Defense Ministry for the conditions created here, as well as for comprehensive care.
The leadership of the Ministry congratulated the medical staff on the occasion of the holiday and gave relevant instructions on providing better quality service to the servicemen undergoing treatment.
