In accordance with the combat training plan for 2018, approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a tactical-special exercise was conducted with engineer-sapper units.
In the course of the tactical-special exercise conducted in a complex operational situation, the specialists of the engineer troops fulfilled the tasks of conducting engineering reconnaissance of the terrain using modern means and equipment, as well as preparing the ways for movement of troops.
Besides, the military personnel, having detected the mines installed by the imaginary enemy, carried out demining of the terrain in a special way, and upon reaching the assigned area, met the standards for equipping engineering-observation posts on the ground.
