Special educational institutions operating under the National Defense University (NDU) and the Faculty of Military Medicine marked September 15 - Knowledge Day and held solemn military oath-taking ceremonies for new cadets. 
The events were attended by the leadership and staff of special educational institutions and the Faculty of Military Medicine, including the teaching staff.
The solemn ceremonies were declared open after the battle flags were brought to the parade grounds in accompaniment of military orchestras.
First, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for their Motherland, was honored with observing a minute of silence. Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The speakers of the solemn events sincerely congratulated the cadets on September 15 - Knowledge Day and taking military oath, wished the future servicemen to be worthy sons of the Azerbaijani nation, loyal to the Motherland, and the military, and recommend them to serve with discipline.
On behalf of the newly admitted personnel, the young cadets congratulated the personnel on the occasion of the events, wished them success in their studies, and expressed their satisfaction with the conditions provided. 
Then, the cadets solemnly took the oath of allegiance to the Motherland and marched in front of grandstand.
