Baku Military College under the National Defense University held a ceremony on the occasion of the beginning of the new training year.
The leadership of the military college, representatives of the Defense Ministry, teachers and other guests were in attendance.
The ceremony commenced with commemorating the bright memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Motherland. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Congratulations of the leadership of the Defense Ministry were conveyed to the personnel with regard to the beginning of the new training year. The speakers highlighted attention by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to the development of the educational system and the positive results of the reforms in the field of military education in the Azerbaijan Army.
The ceremony delivered recommendations in the field of increasing the knowledge and skills of the cadets, improving their discipline and psychological training.
After the cadets’ solemn passage in front of the grandstand, the teaching process got started in the classrooms.
