The Medical Department of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry holds training-methodical sessions under the training plan for the current year.
Commanders (Chiefs) of medical military units and institutions, Chiefs of medical services of troops (forces), and senior medical specialists of the Defense Ministry took part in the sessions.
The event commenced with the commemoration of the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, the Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
During the sessions, detailed reports on the work done in the field of medicine in the Azerbaijan Army were heard.
Besides, the instructions of the Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, regarding the provision of quality medical aid to servicemen by qualified medical personnel in military medical institutions, as well as the regular implementation of preventive measures to avoid the spread of diseases among personnel, were once again delivered to the participants.
At the end, detailed discussions on military medicine were held.
