According to the training plan for 2023, training-methodical sessions were held in Azerbaijan Defense Ministry’s Medical Department.
First, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
In the sessions, reports on the work done in the field of medicine in the Azerbaijan Army per the current year were heard. The sessions were attended by the commanders (chiefs) of the medical military units and institutions of the Azerbaijan Army, the chiefs of the medical service of the troops (force) and head medical specialists of the Defense Ministry.
It was noted that during the winter training period of the current year, military personnel was provided with all necessary medical aid at a high level by qualified medical personnel, and prophylactic measures were regularly implemented in order to prevent the spread of diseases among the servicemen.
During the sessions, the participants held detailed discussions on other topics related to military medicine.
