On 26 June - Armed Forces Day, marches of servicemen accompanied by military orchestras were organized on various streets and avenues of Baku, as well as in the cities of Barda and Shusha.
First, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the Motherland, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Military orchestras performed military-patriotic songs and marches.
The military marches have aroused the great interest of the citizens.
