Under the plan approved by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 8 November - Victory Day celebrations included marches accompanied by military orchestras organized on the central streets, avenues and squares of Baku, Ganja, Khankendi, Shusha and Lachin.
The marches commenced with a solemn tribute to the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for sovereignty of Azerbaijan. The National Anthem was performed.
The military orchestras played patriotic songs and marches, which were met with high interest and applause from the citizens.
