In accordance with the Combat Coordination Plan of the Nakhchivan garrison troops for 2021, tactical exercises were conducted with artillery, rocket, mortar, and anti-tank batteries of the Combined Arms Army.  
When moving from the permanent deployment points to the destination with an alarm signal in accordance with the new task artillery units got prepared for combat operations.
During the “alarm signal“ the artillery units were by moving directly from the combat line when moving from the points of permanent deployment to the destination areas.
The tactical exercises, which were held in conditions close to combat conditions, focused on the coordination of units, the improvement of field skills through tactical and fire maneuvers.
In the course of the exercises, the units carried out fire support, detected and destroyed enemy targets using drones and other reconnaissance equipment.
The work of artillery units to repulse a sudden enemy attack and restore the defense to an advantageous frontier fire support was carried out for the units, enemy targets detected by drones and other reconnaissance equipment were destroyed. in the farthest corners.
In a dangerous direction, tanks destroyed imaginary enemy armored vehicles with anti-tank batteries and artillery shells.
Before carrying out shootings, the anti-tank batteries of the Combined Arms Army fulfilled relevant tasks on special computer software and training facilities at the Simulation Center of the Nakhchivan Garrison. During the exercises, the combat experience of the anti-tank units of the Combined Arms Army, which successfully completed the task of accurately destroying enemy equipment in the Patriotic War, was taught to young personnel, as well as on the virtual training ground shooting and fire control was carried out in different conditions without consuming ammunition and fuel.
At the end of the exercises, the activities of the units were highly evaluated.
