Within the framework of a friendly visit to Baku on October 19, the military personnel of the military ships of the Naval Forces of Iran "Damavand" and "Joshan" paid tribute and laid a wreath at the tomb of national leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honor.

The delegation visited the Alley of Martyrs, paid tribute to the heroic sons of our country, who sacrificed their lives for independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, laid wreaths and flowers to their graves and the monument "Eternal Flame".
Then the delegation headed by Captain 1st rank Abdulhuseyn Zafari met with the Chief if the Headquarters of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan Captain 1st rank Shahin Mamedov.
A walk in Baku for the military personnel of the warships to be acquainted with cultural and historical monuments as well as friendly soccer match will be organized during the visit that will last until October 21.
