Within the NATO "Defense Education Expansion Programme" Military College of the Armed Forces continues the series of events on "Bologna education system and the introduction of PhD program in support of the initiative".
On May 19, between Military College of the Armed Forces and the Military College of the Republic of Bulgaria named G.S. Rakovski were conducted online scientific conference dedicated to "The modern theme of Security and Defense challenges".
At the conference, the rector of the Military College of the Republic of Bulgaria named after G.S. Rakovski Major-General Todor Dotcev, teaching staff, listeners and visitors, as well as the head of the Military College of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant-General Haydar Piriyev, teaching staff and post-graduates attended.
"The Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: speaking on the topic of historical aspects and current situation, during the speech given by associate professor of the Military College S.Sadıyev brought to the attention of the attendies, noting about Karabakh as historically Azerbaijani lands, Armenian vandalism, international law on these matters, as well as the facts of necessity of military operations on April 2-5.
Then the real situation with the Metsamor NPP and its threat to regional security, as well as other military science devoted to the actual problems were listened and discussed.
Conducting online conference was highly appreciated and was decided to conduct joint activities in the future.
