International scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev has started at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army.
First, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Rector of the National Defense University, Professor, Lieutenant General Heydar Piriyev opened the conference and spoke about the aspects of studying the political heritage of Heydar Aliyev, wished success to the work of the international scientific-practical conference.
Director General of the Institute of Management Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Academician Ali Abbasov, Director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Applied Mathematics of Baku State University, full member of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Academician Fikret Aliyev, Professor-consultant of the Branch of Humanitarian Sciences of the Military Scientific-Research Institute, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Mehman Suleymanov, Chief of the Branch of Fundamental Sciences of the Military Scientific-Research Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Sciences, Professor, Captain 1st Rank Asad Rustamov delivered speeches and spoke about the work of Heydar Aliyev, a great historical figure, done in the name of Azerbaijan.
