Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov and a group of military personnel visited the Second Alley of Shehids with regard to the 4th anniversary of the death of Air Force MiG-29 pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Rashad Atakishiyev, who crashed during training exercises.
The grave of Shehid military pilot was visited, wreaths were laid, and his memory was honored.
At the commemoration ceremony, his honorable war path, patriotism, high professionalism, combat determination and commitment to the national and moral values were discussed.
The family members of the Shehid expressed their gratitude to the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the leadership of the Defense Ministry for the shown attention and care.
