According to the instructions of the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, the Department of International Military Cooperation held the meeting with the participation of accredited military attaches of foreign countries in Azerbaijan.
The meeting was attended by the Head of International Military Cooperation, Major General Huseyn Mahmudov.
During the meeting the military attaches were briefed on the recent developments in the line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces, also reasons of the ceasefire violations by Armenians, assault attempts of the Armenian side on to the Azerbaijani positions, continuous targeting of the Azerbaijani civilians and residential areas by large caliber weapons along the frontline.
Additionally, the military attaches were informed on preventive measure taken by Azerbaijani Armed Forces against Armenian provocative actions to prevent civilian population, residential areas, civil vehicles and agricultural fields from continuous artillery fire.
At the end, participants' questions were responded.
