According to the plan approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, educational and methodological training sessions were conducted with the participation of officers, specializing in the field of organization of topogeodesy and hydrographic work.
At the sessions, the head of the Navigation and Cartography Department, Captain 1st rank Davud Baghirli brought to the attention of participants the tasks to be performed in 2018.
Military specialists conducted training sessions with participants on such topics as role of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) in maritime security, the use of topogeodesy devices and the preparation of raster maps for the cartography software.
