According to the instructions of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev Defense Ministry's leadership visited the military units located in the frontline zone on the occasion of Ramadan.
Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and First Deputy Minister of Defence – Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Najmaddin Sadikov acquainted with the current situation on the defense line, combat readiness, organizing and conduct of combat duty, as well as moral and psychological state and social conditions of servicemen.
Defense Minister also got acquainted with the operational situation.
Congratulating the military personnel on the occasion of the holiday, Minister of Defence, expressed his confidence that they will continue to remain faithful to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the military oath and the Armed Forces Regulation, honorably carry out their duties for restoration of territorial integrity of the country, releasing of the occupied territories, will make every effort to raise the level of combat readiness. The Minister wished the soldiers good health, long life, happiness and success in their service.
At the same time, Minister gave appropriate instructions regarding to the improvement of the defensive line and increasing combat skills.
Then, the Defense Ministry's leadership dined with the soldiers and talked to the servicemen being on combat duty in the frontline at tea table.
