Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the delegation headed by the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Stanislav Zas on September 22.
During the meeting, it was stressed with a sense of gratitude that being a high-level relationship between the two countries and friendly relations of the heads of states creates a solid foundation for development of bilateral cooperation.
In discussing further action, which will serve to strengthen the cooperation and relationship between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the military field, the contributions of the two countries in the matter of regional security were highlighted.
Speaking about sufficient development potential of cooperation between our countries in various areas, especially in the field of military education and military-technical sphere, Defense Minister mentioned the importance of the visit of the State Secretary of Belarus Security Council Stanislav Zas and expressed confidence in further strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
After expressing satisfaction with the development of bilateral ties, the State Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of Belarus noted the prospects for further strengthening of relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan including the plans for cooperation in the military field.
