Nakhchivan hosts  a comprehensive civil defense exercise on “Organization of the Management of Civil Defense Bodies and Forces During the Elimination of the Consequences of Large-Scale Emergencies”. 
The exercise, organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, was attended by representatives of the Combined Arms Army, relevant structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, members of the Emergency Situations Commission, the Civil Defense Headquarters of the Executive Authority, heads of departments, enterprises, and organizations, officials responsible for civil defense, as well as civil defense services and territorial and facility-based civil defense units.
During the assembly held at the headquarters designated for the exercise, the implementation status of civil defense measures was discussed, the importance of coordination among management bodies in this field was highlighted, and the significance of joint cooperation in eliminating the consequences of emergency situations was emphasized.
It was stated that the main objective of the exercise is to ensure the effective implementation of civil defense measures aimed at organizing the protection of the population and territories during emergency situations, to facilitate the timely and accurate decision-making process related to the management of civil defense forces, and to further enhance the practical skills of personnel in organizing and conducting rescue operations.
The exercise, which involved a total of 404 personnel and 52 units of equipment, successfully accomplished the assigned tasks with a high level of professionalism, and all established objectives were achieved.
In conclusion, certificates of merit were presented to distinguished participants.
