Competitions for the titles of "Best Sapper" and "Best Sapper-Scout" were held in the Combined Arms Army.
After the review of the engineering weapons involved in the exercises, the servicemen were given security measures, the goals and objective of the exercises.
In the course of the exercises, soldiers of the engineer-sapper units practically worked out the methods of installing anti-personnel high-explosive and guided anti-personnel single mines, and the methods of calculating and blasting the elements of a wooden structure. Then the theoretical knowledge of the competition participants was tested.
At the end of the competition, the command staff of the Combined Arms Army awarded the winners.
