Commander training classes were held in the Combined Arms Army – VIDEO

According to the combat training plan for 2023 of the Combined Arms Army, command training classes with commanders and deputy commanders of battalions and batteries were held.
In the command training classes, the main focus was on improving the knowledge, skills and commanding qualities of the officers on military art and unit management, and on making the right decisions during the fulfillment of combat tasks.
On the first day of the session, unarmed drill command and movement were practically demonstrated.
During the session, theoretical classes on tactical, engineering, topography and chemical trainings were held at the Training and Educational Center of the Combined Arms Army.
At nighttime the command staff participated in demonstrational classes on shooting and driving in motorized rifle and tank units.
The theoretical classes held on the third day of the session included "Duties and principles of the Criminal Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan", "Organization of air defense when motorized rifle and tank units conduct an offensive battle", "Tactical and operational-tactical missile complexes and the features of their combat use", " Commissioning of ultra-short wave radio stations which are in the armament ", "First medical aid and evacuation rules" and other topics were delivered, and the experience gained during the 44-day Patriotic War were conveyed to the command staff.

The officers involved in the commander training classes were tested on complying guidance documents and physical training.
During the analysis of the 3-day training classes with the involved officers, it was noted that the use of technological innovations had a positive effect on increasing the level of professionalism of the military personnel, the adaptation of the training to the real combat conditions, and the effective application of weapons and combat techniques. Officers involved in the sessions were recommended to constantly improve their military knowledge and physical training, to be professional and disciplined commanders, and to be exemplary officer to their subordinates.
In the end of the training classes, Deputy Minister of Defense - Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kеrеm Mustafayev said that during the classes positive results were achieved in improving the skills of officers' unit management, in the ability to use various weapon systems and newly accepted military equipment, and in conducting classes and exercises.
