In the course of the combat training classes that provided young personnel with the general information about the purpose and tactical and technical specifications of various caliber mortars, the level of special training of mortar crews is increased and their combat skills are improved.
During the classes, the units are trained to take firing positions and deploy command-observation posts, bring mortar guns into the firing and the marching positions, aim, load, and conduct combat firing.
At the classes, particular attention is paid to the fulfillment of functional responsibilities by the military personnel and the improvement of their practical skills in special training. Units prepared for combat use carry out live firing at planned and unplanned targets.
The Mortar Units continue combat training classes following the plan.
