A graduation ceremony for Officers’ Retraining and Advanced Training Courses was held in the Combined Arms Army.     
At the beginning of the ceremony, the memory of Shehids (Martyrs) was honored and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.     
Colonel Mubariz Rzayev noted that the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the officers involved in the courses were improved in accordance with their specialties, and the training focused on the experience gained during the 44-day Patriotic War.
Alumni Eshgin Misirkhanov, speaking on behalf of the graduates, promised to stand bravely in the defense of our Homeland, as they fought valiantly in the Patriotic War, and to apply successfully the new tactical knowledge gained during the courses in the military service.
Congratulating the military personnel on the occasion of the Day of National Salvation, Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev noted that the establishment, formation, and development of a strong, organized, professional and well-trained army in the rich history of Azerbaijan's statehood is associated with the name of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Having returned to political power on June 15, 1993, at the insistence of the people, the Great leader Heydar Aliyev saved Azerbaijan from the troubles it faced, preserved our independence, and laid the foundation for stability and rapid socio-economic development. Due to the successful continuation of national leader Heydar Aliyev’s army development policy by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, we won the April battles in 2016 and gained the Gunnut operation victory in 2018. The 44-day Patriotic War in 2020 also ended with the glorious victory of the Azerbaijan Army.
Thanks to the attention and care of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Mr. Vasif Talibov, important work is being done in Nakhchivan for the modernization of military infrastructure and exemplary service of military personnel. The training of professional servicemen in the Combined Arms Army is an appropriate continuation of the work done in the army development. The knowledge, skills, and professionalism that servicemen gained in the courses are reflected in the successes, tactical exercises, and victories of our Army. Obviously, all this indicates a high assessment given to the military arts in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
After the speeches, graduates were awarded certificates and gifts.
A graduate who perfectly completed the courses attached the emblems to the symbolic stumps. Orders on the appointment of graduates to new positions have been read out at the ceremony.
Then, the graduates have solemnly marched in front of the podium and a photo was taken.
