Combined Arms Army held a graduation ceremony on the occasion of the appointment of a group of officers to new positions after successfully completing the Officer's Improvement Course.
At the graduation ceremony, memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs) was honored and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Deputy Minister of Defense - Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev noted that it is a good occasion that the graduation ceremony of the Officer's Improvement Course coincided with the 101st anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, a genius, and a world-famous political personality.
It was noted that today the Azerbaijan Armed Forces have the strongest army in the South Caucasus region, thanks to the unparalleled services of the Great Leader. The reforms in the field of the army, which were initiated by the genius leader in 1993, have been successfully continued by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
Colonel General K. Mustafayev congratulated the officers on the successful completion of the course and appointment to new positions, as well as wished each officer impeccable military service in the defense of the Motherland.
Graduates, in turn, promised to be faithful to the ideas of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, to further master military knowledge for future service and to work hard to make our Army even stronger under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
After the speeches, the graduates were awarded certificates and gifts.
The course leader attached the graduation emblem to the symbolic stump, and the order on the appointment of graduates to positions was delivered to the participants of the ceremony. The ceremony ended after the graduates solemnly marched in front of the grandstand.
