On the occasion of 26 June -  Armed Forces Day, events were held in the Combined Arms Army, servicemen were awarded.
In the events held in the formations and units of the Combined Arms Army, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The congratulations of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and the Deputy Minister of Defense - Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev were conveyed to the military personal.
After the congratulations were read out, the servicemen were presented with various medals, premature and subsequent military ranks, honorary certificates and valuable gifts.
At the events, the servicemen of the special forces units demonstrated their combat skills and physical endurance.
In the end, the military personnel solemnly marched in front of the podium.
On the occasion of 26 June -  Armed Forces Day, festive tables were organized in formations, units and subunits. Art figures of the autonomous republic performed concert programs in front of military personnel.
