Competitions for the titles of "Best Sapper-Scout" and "Best Grenadier-Scout" were held in the Combined Arms Army.
During the competitions held in military units and training centers, theoretical knowledge, physical training, and practical skills of military personnel were checked.
During engineering training classes, sapper-scouts practically worked out methods for setting mines and detecting minefields, methods for breaching, launching mine detectors and observing operating rules, as well as calculating and blasting the elements of a wooden structure.
For the title of Best Grenadier-Scout, soldiers carried out practice firing exercises using grenade launchers.
At the end of the competition, the command staff of the Combined Arms Army awarded the winners.
