Officer of the Combined Arms Army, Lieutenant Colonel Vahid Mammadov delivered the terms and safety rules to the participants, and the competition commenced.
13 athletes on 196 teams competed in the championship, held in order to test the speed, agility and endurance of the military personnel, and to identify the strongest athletes and teams. At the championship athletes and gymnasts competed in various competitions such as pull-ups on the horizontal bar, hip pull-over and vault over the bar, push-ups on the uneven bars, long and high jumps, running on 100 and 3000 meters, and a relay race of 400 meters.
According to the general results, the special forces took the 1st and 3rd places in the team competition, and the servicemen from motorized rifle took the 2nd place.
Military servicemen who took the individual competition were presented with honorary certificates, and the teams that took the first three stages were presented with cups and diplomas.
