During the event, blessed memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was honored. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Director of Nakhchivan Garrison Secondary School, Honored Teacher of the Republic of Azerbaijan Natig Ahmadov, Head of Nakhchivan Garrison Nargiz Kindergarten Marjan Lalayeva and other speakers congratulated the children and wished success in their studies. It was reported that June 1 - International Day for Protection of Children has been celebrated all over the world for many years, and every country and state considers protecting children as its main duty.
It was noted that special attention and care is always paid to children by the state in Azerbaijan, all conditions are created for them to grow up as healthy, conscientious, knowledgeable and educated young people. Thanks to this care the students of Nakhchivan Garrison Secondary School are always successful in their studies, they achieve high results in subject Olympiads, knowledge competitions and exams.
In the artistic part of the event, there was a demonstration of a video about National Leader Heydar Aliyev's love for children.
The pupils of Nakhchivan Garrison Secondary School and "Nargiz" kindergarten sang poems and songs, and showed a literary and artistic composition with music pieces.
In the end, a group of schoolchildren of Nakhchivan Garrison secondary school who achieved success in education and their teachers were awarded with honorary diplomas.
