The First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, who is on a visit to the Russian Federation, took part in the next meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states, held in Moscow on November 12.
The prospects for the development of military cooperation and a number of other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the event.
